Uasin Gishu County deputy governor Daniel Chemno has assured residents of the government commitment to boost service delivery.
Speaking at the County offices on Tuesday, Chemno said the ounty goverment has acheived much in the past two years of devolution.
Chemno observed that devolution has s en Uasin Gishu residents get quality services from development projects that the government has commissioned.
“Uasin Gishu county government has acheived so much in the past two years of devolved governance, access to heathcare, early childhood education has tremendously improved,” said Chemno.
The deputy governor added that various projects including expansion of road infrastructure across the county are ongoing.
The deputy county boss however appealed for more funding from the national government saying it will ensure that projects are completed on time and more initiated.
Chemnon indicated that the government is dedicated to boost the living standards of Uasin Gishu people.
The deputy governor added that service delivery is the county’s motto in efforts to improve the living standards of the people.
Chemno called on Uasin Gishu elected leaders to partner with the county government and propel development.
“It is our responsbility as elected leaders to come together and tackle the problems being faced by local Mwanachi, we can fight poverty, diseases and unemplyment if we work together,” said Chemno.
