The second best student in the just-released  2017 KCSE exam results Sharon Chepchumba from Moi Girls High School in Eldoret has revealed why she performed well.

The 17 years old who wants to be an engineer said it's through hard work, determination and putting God first that made here perform exemplary well.

“I used to spend sleepless nights revising with my friends through group work and always went for assistance from my teachers whenever I encountered a difficult question,” she said at Moi Girl High school Eldoret, Thursday.

“Above all, always put God in front before doing anything, I used to pray on a daily basis and respect both your parents and teachers, “she added.

She said she wants to be the first lady engineer from Korotet Village, Uasin Gishu.

Chepchumba urged other students to work hard in their studies for them to be better people in the future since nothing come on a silver platter and what a man can do a woman can do better.
