Ainabkoi member of Parliament Samuel Chepkong'a has asked the electorate to give him a second term in office so as he can continue with his development agenda.
The Jubilee nominee who is facing a stiff competition from an Independent candidate, William Chepkut, says he has done so much for the residents for the past four years and deserves a second term.
Speaking at the Lighthouse church in Kapsoya, Tuesday, Chepkong'a said in his first term, he has been able to improve education, roads network and ensured equitable sharing of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) across the constituency.
"For just four years, I've build 134 classrooms, 7 laboratories, 11 administration blocks and a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) using CDF cash," said the MP.
"I have also managed to ensure 5.3km of roads under national government are tarmacked," he added.
The MP who served as the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee chairman at the National Assembly further said, "I am yet to see someone running for MP who has an agenda for the people of Ainabkoi.
"I want to improve education infrastructure and increase enrollment from primary to secondary school from the current 80 per cent to 100 percent and 70-100 percent for transition from secondary to tertiary institutions," he added.
"Basically I want to complete what I begun," he added.
Other candidates in the race are KANU's Raymond Cherono and Wycliffe Mosi (Independent).
