In what can be seen as an immediate response to Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Laisula Lesuuda and recently elected senator Aaron Cheruiyot who called on the Kuresoi South MP to join their camp, Cheruiyot noted that his immediate hurdle was to improve the livelihoods of his constituents and not engaging in political bickering.

He questioned the reason Murkomen and company chose a function at his own Kuresoi backyard to say such a thing arguing that his next political move would be a personal decision.

"Telling me to join their camp at such a function was uncalled for because they know where to find me. Some of these things are done in the boardroom not in rallies or political functions unless we are enemies tarnishing each others name," he said.

He called for patience amongst his supporters saying that Kuresoi was bigger than individuals out to seek sympathy in the name of asking other leaders to support Deputy president William Ruto.

The stage will be set on Saturday during a prayer rally cum thanksgiving rally at Afraha Stadium Nakuru after the case against the DP and journalist Joshua Arap Sang was dropped from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
