Citing the surrounding situations under which the former Inspector General of police Mr Kimaiyo David and the EACC officers got relieved off their duties, the Kuresoi South politician noted that the president can also relieve the serving IEBC from their current duties.

'What is there for this Government in the current IEBC Commission? The former commissioners of other legally constituted commissions as EACC and former IG were sent home. The President should, therefore, act over IEBC stalemate not unless the Jubilee Government has a sinister motive come 2017,' Commented Cheruiyot.

The leader further asked the president to use his personal opinion to compel the commissioners vacate the electoral office so as to save the country from falling into chaos.
