Commission on revenue allocation [CRA] chairman Micah Cheserem has insisted that health function won’t be reversed to the national government.
Cheserem said health function has been doing well when it is under county governments’ managements and dismmised calls to have it re-taken by the National Government.
Speaking on Tuesday at Kisii teaching and referral hospita,l Cheserem urged stakeholders to support county governments efforts to solidify delivery of good health services.
“I want to assure Kenyans that nobody will reverse health function to the national government and it will keep on remaining under counties managements,” said Micah Cheserem
He also praised Kisii County governor James Ongwae for improving health sector in his county and asked other counties to embrace him.
“I am happy with the leadership of governor Ongwae for improving the sector in this Kisii County because I have seen that Kisii Referral is peroperly equipped.,” Cheserem added
