Political gatherings in Bomokora Sub location will no longer exist as area Chief Benson Mosumari banned them after one NASA supporter allegedly stabbed a Jubilee supporter after arguing on the current political temperature in Kenya.
According to the chief, the two broke into an argument on Thursday morning at a political gathering at Iyabe area and the agitated NASA supporter would no longer take it and therefore rushed to nearby fruits seller grabbed a knife and stabbed the jubilee colleagues from the back.
“The political groupings in the area have been raising unnecessary political temperatures and that led to a young man identified as Edward Nyagaresi stabbing his Jubilee opponent who was identified as Jublius Begi and its high time we ban them until further notice,” said Mosumari
The chief said the victim is currently undergoing treatment at Iyabe Sub-county hospital while the police are still searching for Edward Nyangaresi who is currently at large.
