Kabulgeny location Senior Chief David Simatei has declared war on the sale and consumption of illegal liquor.
He said those who will be found will face the full force of the law.
"We have netted 120 litres of busaa and arrested eight people who are helping us with investigations. I will not stay mum while the lives of Kenyans are being ruined alcohol," he said in his office, Monday.
"The areas that are notorious for the sake of illegal alcohol include Kambi Teso, Kamukunji slums, and Boma.The raid will continue until we have a free alcohol location," he added.
He, however, warned those selling alcohol from Uganda saying they will be arrested.
"We have discovered that there is a brand of alcohol called Simba from Uganda that is being sold in my location. This brand is illegal and those found will face the consequences," notes Simatei.
He also warned restaurants and bars selling alcohol to minors that their licenses will be canceled.
