Kalama location chief Muithi Mutisya on Wednesday evening rescued woman from rowdy mob.
The woman who owns a posho mill is alleged to have burnt two juveniles who are brothers leaving them with hand and leg injuries over twenty shillings she claimed the two stole from her.
According to Chief Mutisya the two children had been sent by their parents to the woman before she attacked them where they screamt for help which prompted the angry residents into taking the law into their hands.
The two brothers were treated at Bishop Kioko missionary hospital in Machakos town. The woman is detained in Machakos police station as more investigations are carried out onto the matter.
