Pius Ogaro on Tuesday told Hivisasa.com that the uncle, Rodgers Mosoti has repeatedly failed to take care of them despite being in possession of his late father’s assets which approximately generates Sh100,000 per month.

He said the issues have made him pull out of school in the last one week due to lack of school fee besides failing to buy food for them, making them to depend on well-wishers.

“I wish to appeal to the government to help me regain my father’s property because my uncle has failed to execute his obligations of taking care of us. Unfortunately, he has always failed to respond to my concern despite making several attempts to meet him,” he said.

“Taking a meal in our house is very rare nowadays. The situation has also compelled me to bow out of school because he has not paid the second term fee for me,” he added.

However, Rodgers Mosoti has dismissed the claims as ‘misguided’ since the tenants of the rental houses belonging to his late brother in Chepilat have failed to remit house rent for May and programs were in place to solve the crisis.

“I am perplexed with the serious claim by my son and I think they are misguided and hence untrue. It is a small delay in payment of house rent by our tenants but it will be solved soon. The boy will continue with his education as programmed,” he said.
