A 9-year-old standard three pupil, Faith Nduta, who was abducted and brutally injured by unknown people is now in a stable condition after undergoing a surgery at the Mediheal Hospital in Nakuru.
According to Dr Aemen Asher who attended to Nduta, she was brought into the hospital by a good Samaritan when in bad condition.
“I am the one who operated her and I can say she is now in stable condition,” said Dr Aemen.
This is good news to Nduta’s mother Esther Wanjiku, a single mother who sells cakes at Nakuru’s town stage.
Speaking to the press on Thursday at the hopsital, she thanked the doctors for the good work having in mind that they had no any penny but they were admitted at Mediheal Hospital in Nakuru .
She also lauded all well wishers who had come to her daughter’s rescue including Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui and Nakuru County Assembly speaker Joel Maina Kairu for their contribution towards settling the huge hospital bill.
“The way I saw Faith on that day of 17th up to now I can say is only God because I have seen her improve and she is now stable. I would like to thank the Hospital, Governor and speaker Kairu for coming our aid….I want also to call on well wishers to assist so that we can settle the full bill and be allowed to go home,” she said.
Nduta was in ICU from 17th to 24th September 2017. She's now at the general ward and recovering well.
