A fortnight ago, the CEO was given a compulsory leave by Chairman Wafula Chebukati, a move that precipitated unprecedented resignation of three commissioners.

"Claims that the CEO was suspended is untrue. He is in a compulsory leave and would be given time to respond to allegations," said Wafula.

Ex-commissioners Paul Kurgat, Margaret Mwachanya and Connie Maina protested Chiloba's leave but emerging details reveals that they are yet to hand over their resignations.

In an exclusive interview with Nation, Chiloba however said he will divert his energies in developing the farm adding that he will adhere to the final decision over his fate.

"I want this farm to be a demonstration plot for community members to learn the best farming practices that will transform their lives.

"As a model farm, residents will transform their lives through agri-business instead of relying on maize which has become valueless," he added.

Early this week, a secret report written by ex-commissioner Roselyn Akombe directly implicated Chiloba to rigging of August polls that saw Supreme Court nullify Uhuru Kenyatta's victory.

In the report, Akombe also recommends scrapping of the CEO office which she accuses of creating two centers of power in the commission.
