Chebukati said the IEBC is still one given that they met together in Naivasha during their in-house meeting as they prepare for the October 17 repeat poll.
"As you can see we are one we sat six of us plus the CEO in one room the whole day today which means we are working as a unit," said Chebukati.
Chebukati said rumors that the team he had put in place to spearhead the October poll after the leaked memo that kept Chiloba's name in disrepute does not mean Chiloba is fired.
"We were not firing anyone. Obviously, the CEO is still here," said Chebukati.
The chairman also said they are yet to find answers to the answers on the leaked memo that had tough questions for Chiloba.
"We are yet to review the answers to the memo. When we do, we will inform the country. It is unfortunate that a memo marked as confidential was out in the public domain," said Chebukati.
Finally, Chebukati dismissed any claims that IEBC is partisan and there is a divide of allegiance among the members.
"IEBC commissioners are neutral, are not in support of any political party. No IEBC commissioner is having any night meetings with any political parties or any of their agents," said Chebukati.
The opposition coalition NASA has repeatedly claimed that they will not go to the October poll if Chiloba and other senior IEBC officers will still be in office.
