Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Cheif Executive Officer Ezra Chiloba has rubbished claims made by National Super Alliance (Nasa) MP Junet Mohamed.
The Nasa MP had earlier accused the IEBC official of being involved in the rigging of the electoral process in favor of Jubilee ahead of the re-run of the presidential poll.
"Ezra Chiloba has duped Kenyans into believing that he went on leave, while in actual fact having stayed long enough after the Supreme Court nullification to sanitize the electoral fraud now being committed and visited upon Kenyans," said Mohamed.
"He is now a consultant in chief for Jubilee within the commission and is out-rightly procuring fraudulent results to be tallied and posted as votes cast in Nasa strongholds. This is criminal. We invite the DCI to immediately commence investigations and probe the CEO plus any election official who may have yielded to his demands."
However, the IEBC CEO took to twitter to refute Mohamed's claims.
"I wish i could see myself as powerful as Hon. Junet sees me. The misleading allegations about me can only but polarise the country further," said Chiloba.
This comes after Chiloba announced that he would be taking a leave and would not take part in the October 26 poll.
