The three-week leave by IEBC Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba does not guarantee a credible election.
This is according to Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula.
While speaking on Friday, the NASA co-principal said Chiloba's leave five days to the repeat poll is too little too late since, he said, he has already signed vital documents at the IEBC.
"Chiloba has walked out of office after he had already signed an agreement with OT-Morpho, Al Ghurair and Safaricom. This cannot guarantee free, fair, credible and verifiable elections on Thursday," he said at the Ford Kenya offices in Kitale.
Wetang'ula said Chiloba has already put in place a foundation for a rigged election.
"Our stand as Ford Kenya and NASA at large is that there will be no election on Thursday," Wetang'ula added.
