Coming from a very humble background Jack Ma turned himself into a renowned billionaire. He was born in Hangzhou, south-east China with his two siblings.
Ma Yun also known as Jack Ma who is worth approximately $29 billion has made plans to travel to Kenya.
The billionaire is set to visit July 20 and will speak with entrepreneurs about 'The role of small businesses in the global trade' at NaiLab in Nairobi.
Later that day he will spearhead a forum showcasing Chairmen and CEOs of leading businesses in Asia. The sectors set to be focused on include: health, technology, real estate, ecommerce, and financial services.
The aim of this meeting will be to bring together business leaders in Africa and China in hopes of building rapport and connections.
It will further highlight opportunities and challenges affecting development in the African economy and the influence education, the youth, technology, and entruepreneurship play in its development.
