Of the student, about 93 of them will enroll for undergraduate studies while the remaining will go for masters and doctorate programs.
Speaking Thursday during a farewell party for the group, China's ambassador to Kenya Liu Xianfa challenged the students to take their studies seriously to enable them attain skills that would help improve their country.
The envoy added that the Asian giant is ready to help the country build a formidable human resource base that would help spur its eceonomic growth.
On his part Commission of University Education chairman Prof Chacha Nyaigoti Chacha lauded China for the good gesture and for aiding the country in its quest for economic empowerment through a professional manpower.
The students were selected by the ministry of education to further their studies in a bid to equip them with requisite skills to enable them contribute to the country's eceonomic improvement.
