On Monday, NASA leader Raila Odinga visited billionaire businessman Chris Kirubi at his Loresho home where the duo discussed key things that are of interest to the country key among them being the " Building Bridges" initiative that is being spearheaded by the ODM leader and President Uhuru Kenyatta after their March 9 meeting at Harambee House.
Speaking during the meeting, Kirubi hailed the decision taken by Raila and Uhuru saying that it is good for business as it will boost investor confidence.
According to the serial investor, Kisumu County has a huge potential to grow due to the presence of a big Lake Victoria.
"Kisumu City has a huge economic potential because of a big lake," Kirubi said.
While commenting about chaos that often rock Kisumu County during elections, Kirubi asked the locals to embrace peace saying that it will attract investors.
"I will be one of the investors in Kisumu...but investors don't invest in cycles. We want long-term peace," said Kirubi.
In a post on his Facebook page, Raila wished the ailing Chris Kirubi quick recovery having been in and out of the country undergoing treatment.
