The ABC church has banned politicians from doing politics in its churches. 

This was announced Sunday by the ABC Archbishop East, Central and southern Africa Timothy Ndambuki who was in Mwingi.Ndambuki said politicians are free to attend the services but they shall not be allowed to do politics in church however they can meet the church members outside the church building.The move was supported by Joe Mutambu who said there is need to show respect to the house of God.Kitui governor Dr Julius Malombe also supported the move and also called on politicians to stop politicking at funerals.During the funeral of former Kitui Mayor Martha Mwangangi, Malombe was booed and forced to leave the funeral.
