A Nairobi City church has bought off a famous nightclub in the outskirts of Nairobi and transformed it into a church in an expansion strategy.
Mamlaka Hill Chapel, which has its headquarters in Kilimani, has now acquired Herisquare Lounge in Ruaka, located on the Northern Bypass opposite the Two Rivers Mall.
Church's senior pastor, Charles Ng'ang'a said he new church is set to be opened soon.
Renovations to transform the former nightclub into a place of worship are on top gear.
The Club used to be popular given its size and strategic location along the Limuru-Ruiru bypass. Live bands and plays were also a common feature.
It has also recently hosted local and international celebrities including Churchill, Avril, Rich Mavoko, Jose Chameleone among others.
