Elder Robinson Momanyi of Boronyi SDA Church has urged parents to be good role models to their children to ensure they grow up knowing God's Biblical teaching.

Elder Momanyi said that such teachings will help children apply the moral teachings, values the receive to serve their immediate communities and the wider society according to God's will.

Elder Momanyi, who is also the Omoko Sabbath School teacher, reminded parents to expose their children to God's Biblical teachings in their early stages to morally empower them to surmount various challenges they may encounter later in their lives.

Speaking at the Church camp Centre during the dedication of a child (Florence Mogaka) to God, the Elder challenged parents to introduce their children to fellowship and Bible study sessions at home, since Church starts from family units.

"I reminding all parents to teach their children about family fellowships, Bible studies and prayers as part of the Biblical teachings on the children's moral development and growth," stated Elder Momanyi.

He said that having children introduced to God in their childhood years will ensure that they know what God requires of them as His children.

Elder Momanyi added that the Bible reminds parents to teach their children about ways to live according to God’s will.
