A church in Nakuru Town has today; Monday launched a radio and TV station in a bid to spread the gospel.
The Nakuru Kingdom Seekers Fellowship Church launched the Ministry of the Body of Christ International (MBCI), in a ground breaking ceremony held at Afraha Stadium.
Officiating the launch, the church's moderator, Apostle Williams Kimani said that the two stations would help in spreading the gospel.
“It is my wish that the two stations will take a key role in the spread of gospel, with our two stations on air, we expect to spread the gospel globally,” said apostles Kimani.
He further added that the church is committed in spreading the gospel to all corners of the world, in an occasion attended by thousands of faithful including international evangelists.
Kimani thanked the government for liberalizing the freedom of expression and making it possible to contribute to the growth of churches.
“The Kenyan government has given the church the freedom to conduct its operations without interference and it is for this reason we were able to launch these stations,” he added.
The cleric urged the faithful to make use of the two stations to grow spiritually.
“I urge the followers of Kingdom Seekers to contribute to the growth of these stations, they will obviously teach you one or two,” added the apostles.
MBCI is the first Nakuru-based Christian TV, and seeks to bring near the services of the church to their followers at the threshold.
