Police in Eldoret have launched investigations into the suspected murder of a night guard at the Central Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Eldoret town.
The guard was found murdered, Sunday morning at the Church in Kidiwa estate in the outskirts of Eldoret.
His colleague was badly injured in the attack by unknown people.
"We woke up this morning only to find the body of the night guard with the other badly injured in what it looks like they were attacked," said a local who lives near the Church.
"This is not the first time there has been an attack at this Church," she added.
It could not be immediacy established whether the attackers stole anything from the Church which also has a primary school.
The body was taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary with the injured guard also taken to the same hospital for treatment even as police launch probe into the incident.
