The Seventh Day Adventist Church has raised alarm that Illuminati sect’s agents are targeting school going children in Gusii region.
South Kenya Conference Pathfinder Club Master-guide, Zachary Omare, asked parents to be vigilant and routinely monitor their children’s whereabouts.
“Those in boarding schools and tertiary institutions away from their parents should be protected more from falling prey to the traps of the alleged ‘devil worship sect’,” said Omare.
Speaking at Boronyi SDA Church camp centre in Giasaiga sub-location during the church's Adventist Youths induction Sabbath, Omare regretted that school children from poor families were a target by the Illuminati agents as they exploited their lack of pocket money and other personal effects to lure them with the same to join their sect.
"Parents be warned that, your children could be lured with money and other material gains dangled by illuminati agents to unsuspectingly join the secret sect without your knowledge. They will be tempted to give you as sacrifices to the secret sect's gods of darkness," he said.
Boaz Gwaro, an Adventist youth, also admitted that Illuminati was not only rife in schools, but also churches.
"It is now the duty of all Christian parents to commit their children to consistent prayers, seeking for God's divine intervention to save their children from falling prey to the jaws of the secret sects on the loose in the region and other parts of the country," Gwaro said.
