Reverend Ezekiel Omwenga the regional coordinator of The Seventh Day Adventist Church announced at KITI Seventh Day Adventist Church when he presided over a special church service dedicated towards community charity works . Reverend Omwenga observed that the church as a social institution has an obligation of offering charity and welfare services to the less fortunate in society. He announced that the Church would start registering all community based Nursery Schools in the area next month irrespective of their religious or social backgrounds in preparation for the sponsorship. “As a church, we have an obligation to uplift the social standards of the less fortunate. We have initiated a community charity work to ensure that all local Nursery schools are equipped with learning materials, food and infrastructure,’’ said Omwenga.
