The residents of Jogoo on Thursday woke up to a rude shock after discovering unknown burglars had vandalized Millennium SDA Church Jogoo.

Confirming the incident, church chairman Ogembo Masese said the burglars managed to get away with the sound equipment and an undisclosed amount they have been collecting as church offerings.

"We're in a deep shock that all our efforts have been brought down by some few individuals of which we can't tell their motive by now and they managed to get away with sound equipment and church offerings," said Ogembo.

He, however, added that they've already reported that matter to the police who are yet to launch an investigation.
