Anglican Church leaders in Kisii and Nyamira Counties have voiced concern over the spate of industrial protests gripping the country.
Group leader Rev Bishop John Omangi says the government should end the madness if the country is to move forward.
For several weeks the country has been grappling with a series of industrial strikes with doctor’s strike dragging for weeks now.
Union officials have since been sent to jail over failure to call off the strike.
They complained that their allowances were not adjusted upwards when the nurse had their increased.
He said dialogue holds the solution to the protests.
He also called on the striking workers to brace for a win-win situation if the government admits insolvency to meet their demands.
He said situations like these are disadvantaging the poor who depend on public services.
He also asked the government to supply mission hospitals which are bearing the burden of patients seeking treatment after doctors at public hospitals begun work boycott.
