Speaking on Sunday during a mass at the Kikombi Catholic church in Machakos County, Ndeti expressed her support for the National dialogue but was very adamant on the importance of involving churches in the conversations.

Ndeti supported her call, stating that it would involve family views at the grass-root level.

“If the dialogue is accepted and planned by the government and the opposition, then the church should be involved as it will bring in the family virtue,” said Ndeti.

“It’s not only the opposition and the government that should represent the problems and views of the citizens. Church leaders are an important ingredient in tabling of citizens’ views,” added Ndeti.

She further called on the Machakos County governor to be a tolerant and involve all citizens in his projects, as they are the ones who have employed him.

Wavinya called upon the Ukambani church leaders to come together as one and pray for the country’s peace.
