Churchill made the announcement during the latest episode of Churchill Live which airs of NTV every Sunday.

The celebrated comedian further stated that the debate will be citizen-centered.

“The debate will be a citizen’s based debate. Those who will be attending the show will be the ones mandated to ask questions to the presidential candidates,"said Ndambuki.

This will be the first time a comedy show will host a presidential debate.

During the last general election, Media Owners Association (MOA) hosted the first ever presidential debate.
