In a statement, CID boss George Kinoti boss said intelligence has unearthed a dark movement that is operating within Kenya’s universities.

The CID boss said the cult is calling itself ‘Young Blud Saints’ and believes in three gods: true god, false god and random god.

“Members are expected to sacrifice what they love most to prove loyalty to the organization,” he said in a statement.

He added: “We take this time to caution members of the public and urge parents to keep a keen eye on their children to deter them from being recruited to such evil organizations.

”As a result of the worrying trend in varsities, parents and church leaders have been told to watch out on comrades and help whenever they notice something strange.

“Parents and the general members of the public are encouraged to seek psychological guidance from professional counselors and religious institutions when they notice unusual change of behavior in their children.”

An interview with Egerton University students in Njoro confirmed the intelligence.

“I have heard about it, but naskia iko Nairobi (I hear it is around Nairobi),” Sherly Ruto said.

Maxwell Ondieki said the movement has no bad intentions.

“The police are just being alarmist, that movement is just like Freemasons …they are thinkers and as a philosopher I don’t buy the police version,” Ondieki said.
