Uasin Gishu CIPK chairman Abubakar Bini has condemned President Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing new 21 Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS).He said this is uncalled for and an added burden to the taxpayers who are already overstretched.“As religious leaders, we are not happy with the creation of the Chief Administrative Secretary post, I think this was done to reward those who supported his presidential bid and not putting in mind the consequences to the common mwananchi,” he said in Eldoret town, Sunday. “We don’t see their need since they will replicate the work done by both the cabinet and principal secretaries, therefore, they should have been given other jobs and not this ones. President Kenyatta was misadvised on this,” he added. He urged President Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga to engage in dialogue before the swearing in of the latter.“We want the two leaders to swallow their pride and engage in constructive dialogue that will prevent the forthcoming swearing-in ceremony since it might plunge the country into war,” noted Bini.
