Politicians mounting illegal billboards and other campaign items in Nairobi risk being fined

According to a new directive from City Hall, any billboard, poster or banner urging residents to register as voters and which bear names of aspirants will be immediately brought down.

According to Nairobi sub-county administration chief officer George Ntoiti, no politician should put up a banner or billboard because it is not yet time for campaigns.
