City lawyer Nelson Havi has called on Twitter to help and solve inflammatory comments from a Twitter user.
According to Havi, the account has defaced his official campaign poster for the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) chairmanship for Nairobi branch.
In a tweet on Saturday, the lawyer wants Twitter to take appropriate action and either suspend or deactivate the account.
"Dear @TwitterSupport, the account below, @MarkMwenje has been used to deface my official campaign poster and contains inflammatory comments. Could you please, take action on the account, suspend or deactivate it? Thank you," tweeted Havi.
The account, Mark Muriithi Mwenje @MarkMwenje, has made several allegations against Havi as he seeks for the LSK chair in Nairobi and has called on fellow advocates to lock out a 'promoter of division' from holding office.
"The secessionist propagator @NelsonHavi is determined to be LSK chairman Nairobi branch. We must not allow a promoter of division to hold office in Nairobi. We, advocates, have a duty to lock out such characters," read the account's message.
On February 5, the same account user 'rejoiced' when Havi lost bid to run for LSK presidency due to the existing age limit and alleged that the lawyer was 'tribal' and 'hateful' and only belonged to ODM politics.
