A Nairobi county MCA spent three days in police cells after jumping bail.
Umoja ward representative Maina Njoroge, was detained by a Nairobi Court for failing to attend court on charges of incitement.
Njoroge was supposed to appear in court on May 8 for hearing but he skipped.
He was facing a second count of forcefully possessing land belonging to Stanley Kamau.
The MCA is said to have committed the offence on June 13, 2013 at Umoja 1 estate.
Njoroge was detained at Industrial Area Remand Prison until May 12 awaiting ruling on whether to restore his bond.
