A court's adoption of a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) has been met with ululation from civil servants.Sicily Kariuki, Public Service Cabinet Secretary, appended her signature on the CBA in June this year.The Employment and Labour Relations Court adopted the CBA this week when it was presented to it.''This is to inform you that the court, having duly considered the CBA entered into by the government and the said union, has today accepted it and its registration in accordance with the relevant provisions,'' Judge Maureen Onyango said according to the Saturday Nation.The Ministry of Labour had expressed its confidence in the agreement in a letter to the court, saying that it met the relevant rules and regulations on wages.
