Kisii County commissioner Mr Chege Mwangi has called on all civil servants in the county to endeavor to deliver on their mandate to the national government through their respective ministries.
Mwangi put on notice all civil servants working for the national government in the county and warned that those who don’t deliver on their mandate will be dealt with in accordance with the civil-service regulations.
“Efficiency, accountability and discipline should be the hallmark of our operations, failure to which the law is clear on how such an officer should be dealt with,” he said.
Speaking while addressing departmental heads in the county on Wednesday, the Commissioners added that they are looking into proper service delivery and all lazy civil servants will face the law, get sacked or replaced.
"In the past the public has been raising concern over poor service delivery from the civil servants and I would like to assure them that it won’t happen again,” he added.
He called upon each and every civil servant to ensure they work well as is their pay.
