Elgeyo Marakwet county senator Kipchumba Murkomen has said the Supreme Court verdict that nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's win has seen Rift Valley politicians unite like never before.

Murkomen, speaking on Friday during a Jubilee rally at Kapkatet, said politicians from the region have come together to support Uhuru's re-election.

"We have never been united before. Maraga and his four people have made Kalenjins to unite,"said Murkomen.

"We want to tell NASA and the Supreme Court that we shall prove to the world that Uhuru won the election," he added.

The senate majority leader accused the Judiciary of collaborating with the Opposition to deny Uhuru victory in August 8 general election.

"We want to tell Maraga to stop joking with people's lives. We shall not allow IEBC to move the date even an inch. Let it be known that we are not competing with Raila, we are competing those who want to the democracy of the country," Murkomen added.
