A section of politicians from Nyamira County have heaped praises on Chief Justice David Maraga in what they termed as superb management of electoral disputes.
Last year, Maraga presided over two consecutive election petitions that saw his reputation put under microscope by a section of political elites.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi termed Maraga as 'true servant' adding that he should be emulated by his peers.
"He is a very honest man and I think time has come for us to emulate him. He is guided by the law and this has really improved credibility of the judiciary," he said.
On his part, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose said: "The CJ is a humble servant and I think he his services in the judiciary will be remembered for many years."
Throughout electioneering period, Maraga faced eviction threats with at least two petitions filed in support for his removal.
Under his leadership, Kenya become the first country in Africa to have victory of a sitting president nullified.
