Chief Justice David Maraga arrived in Kwale County on Monday morning ahead of his three-day tour of the larger coastal region.
Accompanied by Judiciary Chief Registrar Anne Amadi, Maraga is on a working tour and is scheduled to visit various courts in the Coast region, to kick off the construction of High Court buildings and to hold meetings with stakeholders.
Upon arrival in Kwale, Maraga was received by Governor Salim Mvurya after he paid him a courtesy call.
"Our 3-day working tour of Coast region has begun with Kwale Law Courts. Later today, I will preside in the handing over ceremony for the Msambweni Kadhi’s court built through CDF funds," disclosed the CJ.
