Chief Justice David Maraga's local polling station in Nyamira is one of thousads of polling stations across the country hit hard by Raila Odinga's call for election boycott.

Moments after nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory, Nyamira locals accused Uhuru of witch hunt when he vowed to 'deal' with the Chief Justice.

And initial exit polls shows that no single voter had turned up at Bosose polling station in Bonyamatuta where the Maraga grew up.

During his Monday rally at Kisii and Nyamira, Odinga urged his supporters to boycott voting to 'save' Maraga from Uhuru's wrath.

"You have a chance to save Maraga and taht will happen if you boycott on Thursday," said Odinga at Keroka.

Pius Nyakundi, a voter in the area said:" They are keen to sack Maraga and we have responded by boycotting."

IEBC records for August polls shows that Uhuru managed to score 52 percent compared t Odinga's 46 percent despite the region being a NASA stronghold.

A similar scenario was replicated in Manga polling station where Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i comes from.
