Eldoret Diocese Arch Bishop Cornelius Korir has urged the county and national government to construct one fully equipped laboratory for testing drugs.
He bemoaned the fact that Kenyans were being administered with drugs that apparently have not been tested.
"By testing drugs and vaccines there will be quality assurance that they are fit for human consumption" he said.
Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town, Korir said the laboratory will protect Kenyans from counterfeit drugs.
"It is out of order when the county and national government procure drugs and distribute them without testing them, thus putting the lives of Kenyans in danger," he said.
