Leaders have been called upon to shun politics of divisiveness and rather focus on uniting Kenyans as the nation approaches the 2017 general elections.
Speaking at PCEA Dr.Arthur church during a Sunday service, Rev.George Kahuria Wamani said the rate at which politicians are busy arguing about how to win the general elections 2017 rather than focusing on unity of the nation is wanting.
He added that each and every leader has a role in society from family, local churches and Nation at large calling on all those given any responsibility in these units to ensure that they play their role for a better society.
"When we look around we see alot happening and even the political temperature is high but there is need for sobriety and each leader should play their role of uniting families, our churches and even the Nation at large,"said Rev.Wamani.
The clergy also called upon the parents to ensure that they bring up their children in the right way to ensure that society is not corrupt.
According to him, many children are undergoing a lot of challenges in the society due to parents failure in responsibility.
"Our children are undergoing alot of challenges just because parents have failed in their responsibility and I hereby call upon all parents to ensure they play their responsibility in the right way"said the clergy.
