Chairman Wilson Kurui said the aim of the pogramme is to ensure the elections are conducted in a peaceful manner.

"We don't want another post-election violence that's why we have decided to preach peace," he said on Sunday during the group's meeting.

He said they will tour all sub counties to ensure peace.

"We will start with Turbo, Timboria, Soy, Moiben before moving to other parts, we don't want Kenyans to lose lives for someone to ascend to power," he said.

He revealed that the peace program will involve all religious leaders, the county government and politicians.

On calls to disband electoral body IEBC, he said it might interfere with the 2017 polls and called for trust in the current team.
