Religious leaders from Migori County have called for prosecution of politicians who were involved in chaos that marred an ODM rally on Monday.
PEFA church Bishop, Dr John Okinda, has called on security officers to investigate the chaos and take action immediately.
Okinda said the leaders who will be found culpable should be barred from participating in the August polls.
His sentiment were echoed by Bishop Esau Jobando of Caring Africa Outreach church who appealed for political tolerance in Migori County saying that politicians should compete through policies.
ODM leaders among them Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho,Senators James Orengo, Anyang’ Nyong’o and several officials and aspirants were in Migori to attend a campaign launch for Suna East Member of Parliament.
