Uthiru clergy has called on the leaders in the country to preach peace and unity.
Pastor Edward Kamau of Uthiru Church of Christ said that the nation is passing a difficult time hence need for people to come together.
Speaking on Sunday at Uthiru Trading Center during a church service the clergy said the message of peace and unity will help to unite the country.
“ Political and religious leaders also need to put their acrimonious difference apart and work together in forging national stability,” said Kamau .
“ Every Kenyan should view his neighbour as a brother or sister irrespective of tribe, colour or religion,” said Kamau.
The clergy urged Kenyans to preach peace to their neighbours during this Easter Holiday.
Easter Holiday is an important occasion in the Christian calendar in which Christians celebrate and remember crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ .
“By being crucified on the Cross Jesus shared our suffering with us; Kenyans should take this chance to share the love,” said Kamau.
He further condemned the Garissa attack and called on the government to deal with the insecurity.
“ The government should spare no effort in dealing with those behind Garissa attack,” said Kamau.
He called on the Kenyans to support the government effort in crashing radicalisation that breed terrorism.
