The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) team led by former National Assembly Speaker Francis Ole Kaparo has been called upon to take action on politicians found inciting Kenyans.

According to Bishop Peter Asiago of Redeemed full Gospel, some of the leaders who have the mandate to preach peace are found inciting Kenyans in tribal and clan lines hence there is a need for them to be investigated and charged for the same.

Speaking during a thanksgiving towards their last fundraiser at their Church ground on Tuesday the clergy regretted that if the current political heat continues without any interference from authorities there is a possibility of chaos come August.

“We are currently praying for the country for peace and there is a need for us to ensure that we have responsible leaders who can unite Kenyans instead of dividing them,” he added.

He called upon the NCIC chair, Francis Ole Kaparo to ensure that he take action against hate speech mongers above all ensure that he completes investigating leaders who are suspected to be hate speech mongers.
