[Photo: Elvanis Ronoh]The chairman of Uasin Gishu gospel ministers Bishop Wilson Kurui has applauded opposition leader Raila Odinga for postponing his swearing-in ceremony that was scheduled for December 12, 2017.He said many innocent lives could have been lost in the process."I want to thank my friend Raila Odinga for this noble course and I would like to advise him to not only postpone but abandon it completely since Kenya is bigger than an individual," he said Eldoret town, Monday.“I want to call upon the opposition leader to forget what happened during the electioneering and reach out to President Uhuru Kenyatta to start the healing process of the country through peaceful campaigns," he added.He also urged to consider Raila Odinga Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka in his government by giving them ambassadorial slots.“By them being considered it will help in uniting the country since everyone will feel part of the government regardless their political or tribal affiliation,” he added.Kurui urged Kenyans maintain peace and avoid being used by politicians to cause violence.
