The Thika commercial sex worker admitted that he got married to a clergyman of African Independence Church (AIC) in ceremony presided by a priest in one of the renown bars in Thika.

Stanley Mugo 27 said that he got married to the clergyman who he says is married with a wife and children but the family of the pastor is not aware of the same.

Mugo reveals that the 50 years old clergyman approached him seven years ago in one of the bars and restaurant in Thika town and signed a contract that will last for ten years to be his wife.

“He approached me seven years ago in one of the clubs in Thika and we signed a contract of 10 years,” Mugo said.

He told the press on Wednesday in Thika town during the World day to end Violence against Sex worker celebration that the clergyman has been supporting him financially but it’s not enough to cater for his needs thus forced to indulge in commercial sex working.

The Kahawa resident man revealed that many clergymen in Kiambu are sex workers and though they remain anonymous, they need acceptance from the public to come out of the closet.

He however said that he is proud of his nature terming it as Godly made and will never be embarrassed to defend the rights of commercial sex workers.

He urged the members of the public who have been living a double life in secret to come out of the closet and join the WAPATE initiative to support him or her to accept his or her nature.
