Political leaders have been cautioned against hate speech and inciting Kenyans.
Speaking on Thursday in Kisii town Rev Philip Ongwae called upon leaders to spreading hate speech.
He added that the tongue is a lethal weapon as stated in the bible and when used in the wrong way it would ignite the fire.
“Our leaders should avoid spreading hate speech among Kenyans. The tongue is a very powerful tool that can set Kenya on fire easily,” said Ongwae.
He cautioned them against misusing the leadership positions bestowed on them.
“Leadership is God given. Leadership is a gift and it should not be misused. Avoid hate speech and reckless remarks that can burn down our beautiful country,” he said.
