[Photo/nation.co.ke]The National Environment Management Authority has closed down 4 clubs situated in residential areas over noise pollution in Nairobi along Ngong Road.The four clubs are Space Lounge, Kiza, Jiweke Tavern and B Club.This follows numerous complaints from residents in the affected areas.''Today we came to serve closure orders to four clubs that have been notorious in terms of noise pollution. NEMA has continued to receive numerous complaints and we have tried to engage these clubs but they have failed to comply. They are located in residential areas and are therefore required to comply with the 30 to 35 decibels...'' a NEMA official over noise pollution.
